The Saskatchewan Chamber’s 2025 Federal Election Priorities

April 3, 2025

The Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce is pleased to share our policy priorities for the next Government of Canada, which include 18 key actions to foster sustainable growth and enhance competitiveness.

As the 2025 Federal Election campaign unfolds, the Chamber will monitor commitments from all major parties to ensure Saskatchewan’s business community stays informed on the issues that matter most.

The Chamber is calling for action in six critical areas:

  1. Natural Resource Enrichment – Simplify project reviews and reduce barriers to development.
  2. Energy Development – Support traditional and alternative energy to position Canada as a global leader.
  3. Regulatory Efficiency – Streamline regulations and ensure economic impact is always considered.
  4. Supply Chain Resilience – Invest in infrastructure and remove interprovincial trade barriers.
  5. Labour Market Enhancement – Align immigration and credential recognition with workforce needs.
  6. Fiscal Responsibility – Restore fiscal discipline and implement tax reforms that support growth.

These priorities are rooted in the belief that with the right policies, Canada – and Saskatchewan – can lead in food security, energy stability, and global competitiveness. Read our election priorities below and feel free to share them within your networks.
