The Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce is connecting Saskatchewan businesses with new markets in Manitoba and Alberta through funded trade missions, hands-on matchmaking, and market-access support. Multiple missions will run between 2026 and 2028.
The Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce is proud to deliver the Interprovincial Trade Missions project, a two-year initiative designed to reduce domestic trade barriers, create new business connections, and strengthen regional supply chains across the Prairies.
Delivered in partnership with the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce (MCC) and Alberta Chambers of Commerce (ACC), and funded in part by the federal government, the project will connect Saskatchewan businesses with counterparts in Manitoba and Alberta through six funded trade missions from 2026 to 2028.
Through inbound and outbound missions, participating businesses will gain market intelligence, take part in structured business-to-business meetings, explore regional industries, and build relationships that can lead to new customers, suppliers, partnerships, and long-term growth.
The Saskatchewan Chamber is currently exploring a number of potential missions. If your business is ready to grow beyond Saskatchewan, complete the corresponding expression of interest form(s) below. Mission dates are estimated and subject to confirmation with partner chambers, venues, and participating companies.

Submitting an expression of interest does not commit you to participating in the trade mission. Those who express interest will receive full registration details, including costs, and can decide at that time whether they would like to formally register.

Inbound missions bring businesses and delegations from other provinces to Saskatchewan to build connections, explore opportunities, and strengthen interprovincial trade. It’s a two-year SCC initiative, delivered with the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce (MCC) and Alberta Chambers of Commerce (ACC) and funded in part by PrairiesCan, that connects Saskatchewan businesses with new markets through six trade missions between 2026 and 2028. The program combines funded travel and logistics with pre- and post-mission support to help participating companies grow interprovincial sales, partnerships, and supply chains.
Your business must be located, actively operating, and registered in Saskatchewan; be an SME in good standing; and be ready — or growing toward being ready — to pursue new trade relationships in Manitoba and/or Alberta. Businesses applying for a specific mission should generally align with that mission’s sector focus.
Each mission brings about 10 companies together for three days, either travelling to Manitoba or Alberta (outbound) or hosting a Manitoba delegation here in Saskatchewan (inbound). Missions include group transportation, accommodations, tours and events, and structured B2B matchmaking meetings.
Yes — participation includes a company contribution toward mission costs. Participation fees vary by mission but typically will include accommodations, travel within a destination, and tickets to select events.
About 10 companies participate per mission. Beyond the missions themselves, deal-acceleration support is available to 125 businesses over the life of the project.
Post-mission, the SCC helps participating companies convert new connections into deals through regulatory compliance guidance and market-access support. Companies are also asked to complete two short post-mission surveys so we can track outcomes like new sales, partnerships, and jobs created.
The Interprovincial Trade Missions project is funded in part by PrairiesCan (Prairies Economic Development Canada), with the SCC contributing matching cash and in-kind support, and is delivered in partnership with the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce and the Alberta Chambers of Commerce.
