REGINA, SK – The Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the finalists for the 2026 Achievement of Business Excellence (ABEX) Awards, along with four special award recipients, including the 2026 inductee into the Saskatchewan Business Hall of Fame.

This year’s event embraces the theme Luminary: For Those Who Light the Way. Chosen for its dual meaning, a source of light and a person or business whose vision, leadership, and influence inspire others, Luminary honours organizations whose excellence extends far beyond their own success, creating lasting impact across Saskatchewan’s business community.

The Chamber received 118 applications from entrepreneurs and businesses across Saskatchewan, representing 22 communities province-wide. From this strong pool, 42 unique organizations have been selected as finalists competing across the 11 application-based award categories. All application-based categories undergo two rounds of judging and are objectively evaluated by a third-party accounting firm using a standardized scoring matrix. The special award recipients are independently selected by the ABEX Judging Committee.

Special Award Recipients

Saskatchewan Business Hall of Fame Inductee: Awarded to a long-standing Saskatchewan business that has demonstrated sustained success and made a significant contribution to the province’s economic growth and prosperity.

Business Leader of the Year, sponsored by the University of Saskatchewan: Presented to an individual who exemplifies outstanding business vision, leadership, and achievement, while serving as a role model and mentor within the business community.

Community Leader of the Year, presented by SaskEnergy: Presented to an individual who has made a positive and lasting impact in Saskatchewan through volunteerism, community leadership, and philanthropy.

Roger Phillips Chamber Builder Award: Named in honour of former Chamber Board Member and ABEX founder Roger Phillips, this award recognizes an individual who has shown an enduring commitment of time, intelligence, and leadership to strengthening the Chamber network in Saskatchewan.
