The Prairie Crocus Artisan is a Saskatchewan registered sole proprietorship. The owner, Brenda Dowedoff (n. Desjardins) is a member of the Saskatchewan Métis Nation and is of Cree, Saulteaux and French Descent. Born in Neepawa, MB and raised in Treaty 2 territory in the Métis settlement of Ste. Rose du lac, MB. Currently residing in Wadena, SKaskatchewan. 

We specialize in jewelry, moccasins and leather goods inspired by our Métis heritage. Pieces include Métis sashes, modern interpretations of traditional Métis beadwork and designs.
