Saskatchewan has what the world needs… food, fuel, and fertilizer.  Our trade relationship with the United States is integrated like no other economies on earth. As we work to de-escalate trade issues and tariffs, we have an opportunity work with our largest trading partner, the United States, to ensure free and fair trade that works for businesses, employees, and consumers on both sides of the border.

In this session, we will explore how resource security shapes international trade dynamics, fosters market expansion, and strengthens Canada’s position in the global economy. In this session, Tracy Robinson, President & CEO of CN, will explore how improving our trade flows, investing in nation-building infrastructure projects, and taking advantage of our significant natural resources can drive prosperity across the nation.

Following her expert talk, Tracy will join Murad Al-Katib, President & CEO of AGT Foods, for a fireside chat to further explore these critical topics and what they mean for Canada’s economic future.

The overseas export of potash is a Saskatchewan trade success story, built on a brand of quality, reliability and integrity.  However, recent disruptions have underscored vulnerabilities in Canada’s supply chains and impacted its reputation as a reliable trading partner.  Gord McKenzie, Canpotex’s President and CEO, will reflect on the critical role of supply chain reliability in capturing Canada’s trade diversification opportunities and enhancing global trade relations.
