Jill Johnson is the Senior Director of Tax & Treasury for Cameco Corporation where she is responsible for overseeing the global tax and treasury functions. Prior to joining Cameco in 2012, Jill work in public accounting specializing in tax planning. Jill and her husband have been private business owners for more that 20 years specializing in mobile crane operations and rentals as well as heavy equipment. An experienced CPA accounting professional with more than 20 years as an tax/finance leader, Jill has extensive experience in both public and private sectors providing strategic and governance advice to organization of all sized in a variety of industries. Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Jill Is passionate about the success of the province and our ability to remain competitive in an increasingly global economy, keeping our home grown talent and welcoming others to make this province their home. Jill received her B.A. (Economics) from the University of Regina, her B.Comm (Accounting , Honours) and Masters of Professional Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan. She has also obtained her Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) designation from the CPA Canada and ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
