For thirteen years, Melanie Figueroa worked as a retail sales associate while cleaning part-time. In 2007, she decided to start her own cleaning company known as DC Cleaning. The high level of service she provided and her dedication to always ensuring the satisfaction of her customers and employees made the company successful. In 2017, DC Cleaning became incorporated and changed its name to DMC Cleaning Inc. and is the only cleaning company to be registered with the Saskatchewan Metis Business Directory.
