Chamber College was developed by the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce to provide professional development for Chamber staff and volunteers.

Each course is designed to be completed over the course of 1 day. Course descriptions can be found below. Please note that the Level I course is not required to be taken before Level II.

Level I

This course provides a broad overview of the Chamber world and how to run a successful Chamber/Board of Trade. This course is specifically designed for new Chamber staff and volunteers.

Level II

This course is specifically designed for managers that have at least one year of experience running a Chamber. The focus of this course is engagement of volunteers, community leadership and non-dues revenue opportunities.

Board Governance Training for Chambers of Commerce

To enhance board capacity and skills throughout the Saskatchewan Chamber network, the SCC provides on-site Board Governance Training for Board Directors of Chambers of Commerce throughout Saskatchewan.

This course provides information on the duties and responsibilities of a Board Director for a Chamber of Commerce. Courses can also be tailored to fit your Board’s needs.
